Longfellow Parents Association

Parents are invited to join the Longfellow Parent Association. Involvement in the LPA is a way to be more involved in your child's education, be an active part of the LES community, get to know the school staff and administrators, stay informed about LES events, and most importantly, be involved and make a positive impact on your child's educational experiences. LPA sponsors events and activities to enhance the LES experience for students, families and the local community. If you are interested in getting involved, email them at lpa@salidaschools.org.

School Accountability Committee (SAC)

The SMS School Accountability Committee, or SAC,  helps the principal guide the progress of the campus.  The committee often helps set annual goals for improvement and monitor those efforts.  They then report to the District Accountability Committee, or DAC, which reports to the Board of Education, or BOE. Contact your school principal to find out how you can get involved.
