As a result of legislative and regulatory changes in 2014 and 2015, new procedures for exempting from school- and childcare-required vaccines are being implemented in the upcoming school year. K-12th grade students will submit non-medical exemptions (personal belief and religious) annually and Pre-K students/childcare attendees will submit them when vaccines are due at 2,4,6,12 and 18 months. It is a requirement of Salida School District that the Medical Exemption form be completed every year, prior to enrollment for that school year.
